Breast Cancer Candlelight Vigil
Lights of Life Celebration
This important community event incorporates the truly unique and beautiful New Mexican tradition of lighting luminarias. For some, these Lights of Life glow as an affirmation of the courage of those who live with a cancer diagnosis. For others, these lights shine as a lovely tribute for those whose memories remain. For all, these lights illuminate the hope that exists that some day breast cancer will be eradicated and that, until then, those that are affected by breast cancer will feel supported and part of a community that cares.
We invite friends and family to honor their loved ones by tying pink ribbons on the "Tree of Life and Hope" that will be planted permanently in the city.
