People’s Caring Awards

The People’s Caring Awards recognize healthcare professionals, volunteers, individuals, and businesses who give their time and effort to help people dealing with cancer—reflecting high standards of respect, understanding, and compassion. The Awards were established in 1995 by cancer survivors, families and friends of People Living Through Cancer.

We seek nominations from individuals, organizations and businesses from all geographical areas of the state. We accept nominations in the following categories: Physician, Other Healthcare Provider, Individual (such as clergy or caregiver), Volunteer, or Business.

Who determines the Award recipients

A distinguished Jury Panel of healthcare consumers and providers will select the 2007 People’s Caring Award recipients in the five categories listed above. Selections are based on the merits of nominees only as described in the nomination forms.
