JOB DESCRIPTION

 Title:

General Volunteer

 Program Name:

 People Living Through Cancer

 Purpose:

People Living Through Cancer offers hope and provides a safe place for survivors of all cancers to share feelings and experiences in a support group setting.

 Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors to People Living Through Cancer. General office work will include (but not limited to) answering the phone, filing, data entry and bulk mailings. Show up to work in a timely manner. Be willing to give short tours of People Living Through Cancer facility. Enjoy working in a not-for-profit and be a part of a climate of trust and respect.

 Qualifications:

Be comfortable in an office environment. Compassionate and non-judgmental individual with the desire to support and help others in a close not-for-profit setting.

 Time Commitment:

Specific hours will be discussed.
