Opportunities with PLTC

Outreach:

• Health Fairs: set up, booth manning, pick up and bring back materials

• Posting of outreach materials (ongoing)

• Printing of labels for mailing and placing on informational pamphlets

• Reproduction of flyers and brochures

• Mailing list is bulk mail but outreach is regular mail and hand delivery

Support:

• Newsletter (quarterly):  printing the newsletters and mailing labels, copying inserts, folding, stuffing;    envelopes:  stamping return address, placing labels, sealing.

• Follow-up calls:  to facilitators, client satisfaction calls, reminder calls to class participants

• Database input:  update support group participant lists, updating PLTC contacts info

• Computer work: update support group schedule, produce training labels, name tags, participant roster, etc.

• Phone Answering:  during staff meetings;  events – heavier phone traffic before & after

Events:

• People’s Caring Awards: silent auction solicitation & pick up
• Conference: Sponsor mailings, advertising mailings, being a committee member
• All events: set up, moving, hospitality, registration, sales, clean up
• Database: input, clean-up, calls to update computer, thorough, accurate sign release form for confidentiality
• Computer work: do spread sheets for registration, etc. know different programs to do brochures, flyers, etc.
