Lending Library
PLTC has the state’s largest collection of cancer-related information for healthcare consumers. Sections include exercise, diet and nutrition, coping, personal narratives, death and dying, loss and bereavement, spirituality, employment and insurance, sexuality, adjunctive and complementary therapies, alternative therapies and a reference section. We also have audio and videotapes by many of the best-known speakers on stress, recovery, and relaxation and visualization techniques.
We have an extensive collection of magazines and journals produced by cancer groups from all over the nation, including back issues of our Living Through Cancer Journal. We also have many free publications available. Library privileges are free. Our library hours are the same as our office hours.
Our Lending Library is now online. To check out a book, call us at 505-242-3263 or and we'll send it out to you. Books are checked out for four weeks from when you receive them. Limit four books at a time.
