Training & Education
Training and education are crucial to the success and accomplishment of People Living Through cancer mission. We work to train those that wish to take a more active role in their own support groups or for those who wish to create a support group in their communities. In addition, we strive to increase awareness and education among disparate groups throughout New Mexico.
New One-to-One and Group Cancer Support Facilitor Trainings
All trainings are free of Charge
Call 1.888.441.4439 for additional information and application. First consideration is given to cancer survivors who have completed treatment and to cancer caregivers. Health professionals may apply. A one year commitment to provide One-to-One support and/or facilitating a cancer support group is required.
Native American Group Facilitator Training
The next Cancer Survivorship in Indian Country training will be held July 25-28th.
